Blogging is one of my favorite ways to make a little (or a lot) of extra income. Not only is it a creative outlet, great networking tool, and actually enjoyable work; it has many opportunities to make an extra buck here and there. Most of these methods are easy to set up and require very little maintenance. Creating a blog is a great way to get more flow to your actual Internet business you are trying to sell. This will mean more money from sales and also the side money from the blog. A win-win!

Below are a few ways to make money from your blog.

One of the first things you want to try to do is increase your blog readership. The more people coming to your blog the easier it will be to get other profitable opportunities. You can start by posting your new blog on social media sites and naturally people will start to look at your blog. Also, start connecting with other bloggers in your genre. Comment on their blogs and slowly they will start checking out your link from the comments. As you naturally build relationships with other bloggers, doing a guest post and linking to each others page will benefit you both.

Once you get your blog going, the most common way to make money blogging is advertising space. Most common is Google AdSense. The bigger your blog gets the more money you can make from each advertisement. You will get paid either on amount of clicks or site views. Other options are BlogAds and of course affiliate programs.

As your blog grows you can reach out for sponsored products. While some bloggers are against using this method it's a great way to make money from a blog. The companies will offer you money (or products) to advertise and do reviews for them; or give you products to host a giveaway. Using this method too much on a blog can seem like you are only blogging to get money. So use it sparingly to make sure you keep your readers happy.

These are just a few ways to generate some income if you decide to start blogging or have already started a blog. Just remember it's important to start with a blog that is professional, interesting, and true to whom you are and what you are trying to do. If you can do that, blogging will create an excellent addition to your Internet business.

After being interrupted by the train noises on several occasions, and the crowd obviously being annoyed at the constant interruption, he told them that the next time they heard the train coming, to drop their pens and papers, jump up in the air and start screaming and yelling for joy. So they did. From then on, the annoyance became a chance for celebration. How's that for turning the tables on an old reality? In the same way, celebrating every little victory is important as well. So create a celebration for all commissions. Creat one for every milestone, even the daily ones where you accomplish your daily duties! It could be a yeehaa, a boo-yaa, or ringing a bell. I have one of those old fashioned triangles like they used to use in the old days! Whether it is 10 cents or $10,000, start celebrating every success you have.

2. If you really want to start making money from home, you have to create more thankfulness in your life. Start by subscribing to "The Secret" for reminders to be grateful everyday. The only way to have more of anything, is to be grateful for everything that you have now. Everyone that gives you any kind of value, advice or coaching should receive both your inward gratitude, but even better yet, tell them! In some form of connection, let them know! I see people everyday that have leaders helping them, but they never stop to say thanks. And it shows in their work they produce. Eventually those helpful people will disappear from their lives.

3. The third mental tip is focus. On what? Laser your focus on making money at home. Every day, imagine EXACTLY what you want to make in commissions that day and grin. Launch your attracting "vibrations" on how grateful you are to be living in such an incredible place and time. Then, every night, before you go to bed, focus in your mind your success on making money at home. However, you can do something that is better yet, write down all the things you want!

How to Make More Money From Home - Technical Tips

1. An easy step on making money from home is to keep more. What I mean is, it is important to have a tax plan. Keep more of what you make. A tax plan is not a shoe box full of receipts on April 14th! If you haven't already, make sure you do your homework on this during the year and not wait until the last minute. You will never get rich without a tax plan. If you can find a copy of "Wealth Without Risk", by Charles Givens, he has a great section on tax planning. Mind you, it is a little dated, but it will give you the overall picture of employing your tax plan all year through, and not just on tax day.

2. In your efforts to increase making money at home and learn online marketing, make sure you are actively pursuing sales. The key word is actively. A lot of people make the mistake of being busy with their WordPress, or landing page, or opt-in forms, but when they get leads they never call them. They never ask for the sale!

3. Learn how to get more traffic. Study the people and the websites that have the type of traffic results you want. There are blogs that get over 1 million hits a month, with 40% of them being unique hits. Take some time to study Ray Higdon, and Russell Brunson, and David Wood. These guys get the top results month after month. Imitate them, and create similar success.
